AMC Beauty & Training Academy was established in 2016 by owner Aisling Stewart, with the aim of creating a salon where clients can enjoy high-quality treatments in a safe, welcoming and relaxed environment.

What started as a small setup in Aisling’s spare bedroom quickly grew into something much bigger. After converting her garage into a salon and building a loyal client base, AMC moved into its first premises in 2018 where Aisling began expanding her team. As the business continued to grow, the salon relocated to its current ground floor premises on Main Street Maghera, where a talented team of therapists now work together to deliver exceptional treatments every day.

During lockdown in 2020, Aisling completed her Award in Education and Training, which led to the launch of AMC Training Academy in 2021. The academy now offers accredited courses in gel polish, acrylics, BIAB, e-file, nail art and one-to-one training, allowing students to become fully qualified and insurable after completing their course.

At AMC Beauty, we are proud of the loyal client base we have built and are often booked weeks in advance, but we always love welcoming new clients and meeting new faces. Our team regularly attends further training to stay up to date with the latest techniques and trends, ensuring we continue to offer the highest standard of treatments.
